Each gathering features a guest farmer, chef or culinary educator bringing culinary artistry to the table, pairing inspired dishes with Artiste wines in our intimate gallery setting.

Step inside Artiste Winery & Gallery for an unforgettable evening where wine meets the vibrant flavors, history, and storytelling of India. This special dinner features Shekar Sathyanarayana, founder of Nalla, who brings South Asian cuisine, music, and culture to life through immersive culinary experiences. Guests will enjoy a curated five-course Indian thali menu, with Shekar presenting the origins, cultural significance, and regality of each dish while exploring how flavors harmonize with Artiste’s small-lot wines.

From the first bite of spiced samosas with mint chutney to the rich, fragrant curries—Navratan Korma, Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Korma—this dinner is both a feast and an education. Sides of garlic and plain naan and basmati rice complement the entrees, while the meal concludes with a medley of Indian dry sweets and freshly brewed chai, served in elegant cups with saucers.

The sensory experience extends beyond the plate. Candlelit tables, gold thali plates and interactive spice storytelling create an intimate, engaging atmosphere. Guests may explore wines at their own pace, with side-by-side pours available, allowing everyone to discover their perfect pairing without pressure.

Hosted by Bion Rice, founder and winemaker of of Artiste, and Shekar Sathyanarayana of Nalla, this dinner is designed for both members and the public who crave depth, connection, and cultural immersion. Vegetarian and dietary accommodations are available with advance notice.
