Drew Davis: Harvested Light

Artiste Winery & Gallery is proud to present Drew Davis: Harvested Light, an exhibition celebrating the vivid color, expressive movement and unmistakable energy of California contemporary impressionist Drew Davis.
Working primarily in oils and acrylics, Davis brings landscapes and familiar gathering places to life through playful brushwork, saturated color and generous swaths of paint. From vineyards and mountain reflections to cafés and farmers markets, his paintings capture more than the appearance of a place—they preserve its light, atmosphere and emotional character.
Based in San Luis Obispo, Davis began pursuing art professionally as a teenager. His work has since been exhibited throughout California, collected internationally and featured in numerous publications. He has also been voted Best Visual Artist by the SLO New Times.
The exhibition will feature the five original paintings selected for Artiste’s new Harvested Light Wine Collection, along with more than ten additional original works by Davis.
The Harvested Light Wine Collection
Created in collaboration with Drew Davis, the collection pairs five of his paintings with five new Artiste wines—one white wine and four red blends:
- Fall Blanc — Sauvignon Blanc
- Fall Rouge — Red Rhone blend
- Farmers Market — Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Merlot
- Sally Loo’s — Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot
- Half Dome — Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon
Final varietal percentages and complete wine details will be announced soon.
Each bottle transforms one of Davis’s paintings into a distinctive Artiste label, bringing together expressive California art and small-production Santa Ynez Valley wine.
Opening Reception
An opening reception with Drew Davis will be announced soon. Guests will be invited to meet the artist, experience the exhibition and taste all five wines from the new Harvested Light Collection.
