Artiste Winery & Gallery proudly presents Drew Davis: Harvested Light, an exhibition celebrating the vivid color, expressive movement and unmistakable energy of acclaimed California contemporary impressionist Drew Davis.
Working primarily in oils and acrylics, Drew brings vineyards, mountain landscapes and familiar gathering places to life through playful brushwork, saturated color and generous layers of paint. His paintings capture more than the appearance of a place—they preserve its light, atmosphere and emotional character.
Based in San Luis Obispo, Drew began pursuing art professionally as a teenager. His work has since been exhibited throughout California, collected internationally and featured in numerous publications. He has also been honored by the SLO New Times as Best Visual Artist.
The exhibition features more than ten original paintings, including the five works selected for Artiste’s new Harvested Light Wine Collection.

The Harvested Light Wine Collection
Each wine in Harvested Light begins with one of Drew Davis’s original paintings and carries its color, mood and sense of place from the gallery wall to the table.
Fall Blanc
Drew’s luminous painting carries us across golden vineyard rows beneath the expansive Paso Robles sky. Bright nectarine, fresh green herbs and lime zest race toward a crisp mineral finish, making this refreshing white ideal with oysters, goat cheese, chicken, creamy pastas and seasonal salads.
Fall Rouge
A magnificent oak watches over brilliant rows of orange, gold and crimson vines beneath a dramatic autumn sky. This warm, generous GSM blend offers ripe raspberry, red cherry, black pepper and earthy spice—perfect with herb-roasted turkey, glazed ham, duck or a holiday roast.
Farmers Market
Beneath strings of lights and a wildly colorful sky, Drew captures the joyful bustle of neighbors gathering at a California farmers market. This vibrant, Super Tuscan–style blend layers cranberry, spiced plum, allspice and minerality over medium tannins, making it a natural partner for creamy, buttery holiday fare.
Sally Loo’s
Drew transforms San Luis Obispo’s beloved Sally Loo’s café into a playful explosion of color and neighborhood charm. This smooth, versatile California blend combines classic Cabernet Sauvignon character with lush Merlot, Bing cherry compote and a touch of vanillin from French oak.
Half Dome
Half Dome rises through golden autumn trees and reflects across still water in Drew’s powerful, dreamlike vision of Yosemite. This bold yet polished wine layers earthy minerality, black-pepper Syrah, chocolaty Cabernet Sauvignon and velvety Merlot, finishing with Bing cherry, black olive and medium tannins for grip.
Each bottle transforms one of Drew’s paintings into a distinctive Artiste label, creating a collection meant to be experienced with the eyes, the palate and the people gathered around your table.
