Olivia Joffrey

Olivia Joffrey is a Santa Barbara–based illustrator, writer, and creative director whose work captures the character and light of coastal California. From her adobe studio downtown, she runs Olivia Joffrey Creative, a boutique copywriting and illustration agency serving clients around the world.

Her creative roots trace back to her own caftan label, a brand known for its lyrical storytelling and vintage-inspired photography. That decade of crafting narrative-rich collections sharpened her instinct for emotional communication—how tone, imagery, and atmosphere can move people as much as the product itself. As brands began seeking her voice and visual style, an “accidental agency” took shape in 2021, centered on hand-drawn illustration and thoughtful, tactile design.

Olivia’s work blends classic restraint with a relaxed, bohemian warmth. Whether developing brand language, illustrating menus and invitations, or creating editorial artwork, she approaches every project with clarity, joy, and a deep respect for craft.

Beyond commercial work, she maintains an active studio practice and publishes Beachtown Bohemia, her weekly illustrated newsletter celebrating the culture, stories, and eccentric charm of coastal California.
