With Gratitude —
Reflecting on 2025, Stepping into 2026
As we look back on 2025 and begin stepping into 2026, we want to pause and simply say thank you!
On June 22nd, we gathered in our new Santa Ynez home to celebrate the life of James-Paul Brown—our very first label artist back in 1999 and a foundational force behind the idea that wine could be a canvas for art, story, and human connection. That evening felt like a full-circle moment: past, present, and future meeting under one roof.
In February 2026, James returns to us in spirit and form. His art will grace four new red blends, and his work will fill the gallery once again—just in time for Valentine’s Day, his favorite day of the year. James was wildly in love with his wife Juliette, a muse who appeared in hundreds of his paintings over decades. It feels only right to celebrate that love through his work and our wines.
2025 also marked our first full year in our Santa Ynez location—a beautiful historic building that has quickly become a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. There’s an old-world charm to the space, paired with a contemporary edge that mirrors where Artiste itself is headed—like a transition between art movements, rooted in tradition but always evolving.
Throughout the year, the gallery came alive. We welcomed Carole Watanabe back with four expressive summer reds, released 2022 Sparkling Rosé, I Fukin Luv Yu featuring the photography of Michael Haber, and hosted a rare exhibition of early photographs by Bob Bonis, capturing the first tours of the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. We showcased new work from Steven Quartly, welcomed back Kevin Gleason for the fall and holidays, and introduced a powerful new voice to our artist family with Sarita Reynolds and her Fire & Ice Collection.
We were also honored to partner with Santa Barbara Magazine for its iconic 50th Anniversary—producing a limited four-wine collector’s set inspired by cover artwork from Olivia Joffrey, DJ Javier, David Florimbi, and Russell Young.
Looking ahead, 2026 is shaping up to be a year of connection and creativity. We hope to host more events, bring back our beloved Member Appreciation Party, and open the doors even wider for shared experiences. We also have a few big surprises in store—so stay tuned.
Behind the scenes, we’re expanding in exciting new ways. On the B2B side of our company, we’ll be working with artists, museums, and universities to help them create their own wine brands for their fans, members, and supporters—extending the Artiste philosophy beyond our walls. We’re also proud to welcome two new local artists into the gallery this year, continuing our tradition of adding fresh voices to the Artiste family.
None of this happens without you!
Whether you’ve been with us for decades, joined us recently, or simply opened a bottle and shared it with friends—thank you. Your support allows us to keep creating, experimenting, and telling stories through wine and art.
As we step into 2026, we do so with deep gratitude, renewed inspiration, and excitement for what’s ahead. We’re honored to have you with us on the journey.
With appreciation and cheers,

Bion, Anna & the Artiste Family
